On Tuesday Nifty opened gap up inspite of mixed global cues, remained in the bullish territory for most of the day, tested its well-known resistance at 3050 level intraday and suddenly tanked lower to ultimately close 43 points higher at 3021. Fresh buying seen in Nifty future, Rel Capital, Tata Steel, DLF and Axis Bank, fresh short building seen in ICICI Bank and HDFC whereas short covering rally seen in RCom and SBI.

After a smart recovery from its yesterday’s losses markets surprisingly turned choppy before it finally maintained its strength to make sharp upturn from the days low, as strong buying emerged across all the counters.
